About our group | Mō te roopu 

 

The Corporate Services Group works in close partnership with the wider business to lead, support, and enable the EPA to achieve its strategic intentions and effectively and efficiently deliver its core functions. 

There are four key functions within the Corporate Services Group. These are: Information Management and Technology,Finance and Business Services,People and Capabilityand Communication and Customer. 

 

  • The Information Management and Technologyfunction leads, maintains, and supports the EPA’s IT and information management services, implements new hardware and software, assists staff with IT training and support, and ensures systems security. 

 

 

About the role | Mō te tūnga  

 

This role is based in our Wellington office. While we're happy to consider work-from-home arrangements, this role is not designed for full-time remote working.  

 

  • A typical day will involve meeting with customers, understanding their needs and working through options with them, user training and guidance, and maintaining information services and processes plus assisting on broader IM projects 

  • Current IM projects include electronic records lifecycle management, physical records disposal, information resources evaluation framework  

  • You will be successful in this role when you have a sound understanding of the place of information at EPA, excellent business relationships and show a desire for continuous improvement 

 

 

About you | Mōhou ake 

 

We are looking for someone with a range of skills and experience – if you have some or all of the below, we would love to hear from you. 

 

  • Ability to build strong working relationships and engage collaboratively with internal customers and key stakeholders. 

  • Sound understanding of best practice information management and how it can be applied. 

  • Skills in maintaining processes and guides.  

  • Experience managing content in electronic information management systems and physical records in a public sector environment.  

  • Sound knowledge and application of relevant legislation and standards, especially the Public Records Act 2005. 

  •  Experience with SharePoint Online would be an advantage.

Salary range 

 

$66,446 – 99,670 per annum (midpoint $83,058). 

 

This is the full salary range. Appointments will likely be made at or below the midpoint of this range, depending on skills and experience. An appointment at the midpoint assumes 100% competency in the role, with the full band covering a range of 80% - 120%.
